About Us

AncientThought aims to establish itself as one of the leading online resources for exploring the world of ancient thought by integrating the best of current scholarship with innovative digital learning tools. To achieve this we have two timeline projects that are currently active: one exploring ancient philosophy and the other the history of early Christianity. Timelines that consider other areas of ancient thought might be added at a later date.

At present we are not affiliated with any organization, group or academic institution. The only members that are involved with furthering the project are the editors (who are listed below); who have the responsibility of soliciting and overseeing the accuracy of the contributions to the website that fall within their particular academic purview. To view the list of scholars who have contributed entries so far please click here.

To keep up to date with our latest news and project additions please follow us on twitter and facebook.

Editors

Our editors are responsible for overseeing the formation of the timelines. If you wish to contribute an entry to the timeline -and you feel that you are suitably qualified to do so- then please contact the editor that supervises the area where your entry would most naturally fit. Please note though that the topic might have already been assigned;  but please feel free to inquire.
